The buttons used to interact with your TV are the blue ones at the top of the remote (2 and 12) as well as the power button (1). A schematic with numbered buttons is available further down this page.
Make sure that your remote has new batteries, and that you always point directly at your oxio receiver (aim for the time display).
Some recently released TVs may not be compatible with the remote just yet. We recommend using the code provided by the manufacturer (the list of available 4-digit codes is located below the remote schematics).
Turn on your TV.
Find the 4-digit code associated with your TV’s manufacturer.
Press and hold the SET button (23) until the LED light turns on. Release the button afterward.
Input the 4-digit code found earlier (the LED will blink at every button press). The LED will turn off if the correct code was input.
Upon an incorrect input, however, the LED will blink three (3) times to inform you of the mistake. Please repeat step 4 until you find the correct code.
Once the LED turns off on step 4, ensure that the remote does interact correctly with your TV. If that is not the case, repeat steps 1 through 4 with another code to make sure everything works.
Caution: If no button on the remote is pressed for 30 seconds, the LED will turn off and cancel the setup mode.
In the case where no 4-digit code matches your TV, you can use Automated Search mode to set up your remote.

If the LED turns off immediately after the last digit is entered, you have successfully locked in the code for your remote.
If the LED blinks twice after the last digit is entered, the code has not be locked in. Please repeat steps 1 through 3.
For this method, you will need :
- your oxio remote;
- your TV’s original remote.
These steps may require a little more patience! Do note that changing the remote’s batteries for new ones is sometimes necessary for this to work.
Aim your two remotes toward one another. The oxio remote will learn to copy the type of signal your own remote sends out!
Press and hold the LRN button (23) on the oxio remote until the LED light turns on (about 3 secondes). Release the button afterward.

Slowly press the following four digits : “9-9-9-9”.
The LED will blink twice and the remote will be reset to its default settings.
This may be due to a factory error.
All new Bluetooth remotes go through a testing phase. Sometimes, the debug mode used during the tests isn’t deactivated and the remote won’t function properly. To remedy this, remove the batteries, then reinsert them. Once they are in, press both the HOME (6) and OK buttons at the same time until the green light turns off. Once done, this means the remote is now in its original, customer-intended state.
