To get the most out of your oxio internet plan, especially if you have speeds over 500 Mbps, we recommend hardwiring your devices directly to the router. While our provided routers can deliver great Wi-Fi speeds of 400-500 Mbps (perfect for most homes), Wi-Fi is still susceptible to interference.

For the most stable and fast connection, a hardwired device can achieve speeds up to 1 Gbps. Need more ports? An ethernet switch is a great way to expand your network and share the full speeds with multiple wired devices.

We’re 100% online to offer you the most responsive support possible.

This means we don’t use call centres or offer phone support (and never have). Instead, we focus all our energy on quick, efficient digital communication via SMS or Live Chat.

However, when people talk about "IPTV" in a home service context, they usually mean a service that mimics traditional cable. AKA, a channel guide, live local news, and sports, but delivered via your Wi-Fi.

How do I configure static IP addresses for my devices on your routers?

Open the oxio Wi-Fi app on your smartphone device.
Tap Settings > Network.
Scroll down and tap on the* *IP reservations button.
Tap Add new* *and choose a device from the available list. *If the device hasn’t been connected to the network yet, you can reserve an IP using its MAC address with the Add manually option at the bottom of the page*.
Tap Add to reserve the current IP address. Tapping on the device again lets you change it to another available address within the current IP range. You can also use the Add a Port option to set up port forwarding for that device.
